Cat Adoption Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where are you located?
We are a foster based program located in Tucson and surrounding areas.
Once our cats/kittens are available for adoption a majority of them will then become available at one of the two PetSmart locations listed below:
Oro Valley PetSmart 10625 N. Oracle Road, Oro Valley, AZ 85737
2. How do I meet the cats/what is the adoption process?
There are two ways to meet the cats available for adoption through Lil Bit of Love, online and in person. If you find a cat you are interested in and would like to meet a specific cat we ask that you fill out an application on that pet by clicking the “adopt” button next to the cat of your choice in the “adoptable cats” section of our website. Once we receive your application we will contact you asap!
However, if your goal is to meet several kitties in person and forgo filling out an online application we ask that you visit our two locations. The adoption process is the same as online, however the PetSmart staff will help you meet the cats you’re interested in and they will assist you in completing the application process.
3. How much does it cost?
Kittens under 4 months are $125, or two for $200
Kittens between 4 months and 1 years are $115, or two for $200
Cats between 1 year and 6 years old are $95
Cats over 6 years old are $65
We accept cash only, unless requested prior to adoption (no checks).
These fees cover age appropriate vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter surgeries. 100% of the adoption fees go directly back into the rescue and as such are non-refundable
Felv/FIV snap tests are not included in our adoption fees, but can be performed upon request for an additional cost
4. What cats are available?
All of our adoptable pets are listed online and on our Facebook page. We will only consider applications for cats listed on our website under the “adoptable cats” section. If you are interested in a pet listed in our medical hold album please feel free to contact the cat team at firstname.lastname@example.org
