We hold adoption events all over town on various occasions but most of our cats are located at Petsmart in the cat adoption area at 10625 N Oracle Oro Valley, Az 85737 (520-797-0008). First step is to check the website and look under the description to see if the the cat is at Petsmart, in foster care or Pet Dr. If in Foster care please fill out an application. Once that has been submitted we pass the applications to the cat you have chosen's foster family. If the cats name is not listed as an option, please put their name in the comment section.
The foster will go over all the applications and try to find the best fit for the cat. Sometimes there are many wonderful families that would all make great homes, but it needs to come down to one. Please don't get discouraged as we have many cats at many times that would make outstanding additions to your family! Once a few families have been selected the foster will contact you with the most current information about meet and greets, other potential adopters and can answer any questions you have about the cat.
When the perfect family is found we have you fill out our adoption contract, pay the fee, You get their folder which includes any medical history done while in our care, their current vaccination records as well as their spay or neuter certificates. We take a family photo and that's it! Your new family member is yours forever!
If the cat is at Oro Valley Petsmart, the adoption application can be filled out in store 9am-8pm, 7 days a week at 10625 N Oracle Oro Valley, AZ 85737. 520-797-0008. 5. What cats are available right now? We will only consider applications made on cats listed in our website. If you fill out an application for a medical need cat or a coming soon cat WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU as that cat is not ready for adoption. Once the cat appears on the website we will accept applications at that time.
6. How can I help? We are always in great need for new foster families! Many of our fosters have multiple cats in their homes at one time. We prefer our cats to have more relaxed environments where they can find comfort and peace learning to trust humans to care for them with love and compassion. If you are interested in becoming a foster please fill out our foster application.
We are also in great need of donations towards our veterinarian bills which can be made through our donate buttons on our Facebook page and website! We accept cash, checks as well! puppy pads, blankets, dry and wet food, litter, bowls, crates, towels, toys, and treat. Donations can be dropped of at Oro Valley Petsmart and let them know it's for Lil Bit of Love.
